Documentation required for a visitor's visa not exceeding three months: 

1. A valid passport for no less than 30 days after the expiry of he intended date of departure from the SA republic
2. A fully completed and signed application form BI-84
3. Once recent photograph facing the camera against a white background, size 3.5x4.5
4. Visa is issued free of charge for egyptian citizens
5. Proof of financial means, at least 3 months bank statement reflecting sufficient funds to cover envisaged living expenses during staying in the Republic of South Africa
6. Print-out of the primary flight booking (two way ticket)
7. Proof of accommodation (primary hotel reservation)
8. A stamped and signed letter from the employer (HR letter) confirming employment /purpose of visit
9. Supporting documentation confirming the purpose and duration of visit. 

Please Note

1. Visas will be processed within 5 working days but it may take longer to be finalized in case of referral to the Head Office or any other South African authority for approval 
2. Applicants must submit all required documents even if they have acquired a visa previously
3. The embassy has the right to request any additional information at any time
