Black and White Desert - Sukun Studio

Day 1

Welcome to the Black Desert

The day starts real early as we begin our journey to Wahat at 7 am in the morning. The road takes 5 hours.

As soon as we arrive, we check into our lodge. After having lunch, we head on our first day of adventure. We start by exploring the Black Desert. It got its name after years and years of erosion left it with a layer of black powder and rocks. Then, we delve into the Black Mountain where we will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area. We then head to the Mezzenak Dune for sunset and some sand-boarding. Later, we head back to our lodge.

Day 2

Wahat adventure continues

After having breakfast and checking out from the lodge, we start our day by visiting the salt lake. We then head to the cold and hot springs for a quick dip. We then head to Maarik sand dunes before arriving to Agabat desert with its huge rock formations where we set up camp and spend the night dancing and singing under the stars.

Day 3

The White desert

After having breakfast, we continue our journey through the desert by visiting Serv Eye. Next, we arrive to the old white desert and we pass by the Acacia Tree before arriving to our final destination: The White Desert with its unique rock formations! We set up our camp and explore the surrounding area. 

Day 4

Saying Goodbye to the desert

After waking up in the middle of the desert and having our breakfast we head out for one last desert exploration. We pass by the crystal mountain and explore this region with its mind-blowing geological formation. Before ending our adventure and heading back to Cairo we stop by the lodge for one last lunch.

We move back at 3 pm and arrive at Cairo at 8 pm.
