    Optional Activities

    Lilo and Kayak (48$)

After a quick safety briefing, begin with a paddle upstream from the harbour in your kayak while gazing at the towering cliffs on either side of the river. If sea conditions are too rough, a hike to the suspension bridge is the backup plan.

As the water begins to get shallower, hop off your kayak and onto a specially designed inflatable lilo and float deeper along the river, weightlessly relishing in the serenity of the surrounding paradise while feeling insignificantly small.

After all the tranquillity of floating, you can balance that with a healthy dose of adrenalin! Take the plunge and leap off the overhanging cliffs and into the seemingly endless deep pools below.

    Treetop Canopy Tour (45$)

A Canopy Tour takes you on an unforgettable adventure as you zipline from one platform to the next along a series of steel cables set amongst magnificent natural surroundings.

    Tsitsikamma Wolf Sanctuary

The aim of the sanctuary is to provide refuge for a range of wolves and to educate people about these magnificent animals. While here, visitors can admire the beautiful pattern of the African Wild Dog, discover the intelligence of the Black Backed Jackal, and interact with a variety of farm animals.

The sanctuary boasts over 20 grey wolves, including the Canadian Timber Wolf. They live in separate enclosures, known as dens, and have formed family packs.

    Tsitsikamma Segway Tour

These tours start off with a training session and then we explore the local forest and village where we glide through the little adventure filled village and select a forest road that leads deep into our pristine Tsitsikamma Indigenous forest. There are a selection of forest trails available and one of them even takes you right up to the famous 1000-year-old Outeniqua Yellowwood tree.

    Woodcutters Journey in Tsitsikamma Forest

Experience the uniqueness of this biome on a journey down the old Stormsriver Pass through the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest from the comfort of a specially-designed vehicle. Follow the elephant migratory route, passing yellowwoods, and stinkwoods, while learning about the history of the area and its indigenous fauna and flora. We introduce you to a fairy world of a 450-500-year-old, “Human-like Tree”, our own unique “Forest Guard” who watch over the forest with human-like faces. The tour takes place in a pristine wilderness environment carefully selected for its uniqueness and unsurpassed beauty allowing clients to absorb the beauty of the indigenous forest. Information is presented by trained professional guides explaining culture, fauna, and flora.

    Mountain Biking

The Storms River Village Mountain Biking Route is 22km long and follows the old national road through the Storms River Pass. The 5km descent to the river passes through indigenous forest and offers some wonderful views of the gorge. After crossing the river the route climbs out of the valley, to the coastal plateau, for a relatively flat section to the viewpoint which overlooks the Storms River Mouth. The return route circles back to the Storms River Pass and on into the Village.

    Canyoning (45$)

You will get the chance to navigate the river shallows, swim through mountain pools, down natural water slides and enjoy jumping & abseiling off cliffs! This trip includes a number of Abseil or Rappel points in and around waterfalls, optional jumps as well as a unique rock pool zip-line. A dynamic adventure packed with fun in between.

    Bungee Jumping (90$)

Jumping from this spot gives a double dose of thrill - ziplining to the bridge and a leap from this infamous jumping pod - surrounded by South African wilderness. The scenery is spectacular and whilst spectators can’t see the river below from Bungy HQ, jumpers have a bird’s eye view as they hurtle towards it at warp speed. The thrills don’t start when you jump, they begin as you zipline your way out to the jumping platform underneath the colossal bridge. For those looking to skip the zipline - an option to walk to the bridge is available, stepping gingerly onto the bridge’s steel girders with views of the long drop below.

    Skydiving (230$)

Free fall into pure oblivion. Whether you choose to land at your starting point (airport), or on the beach, from ten thousand or twelve thousand feet. Either way this will be an unforgettable experience.

    Robberg Hiking Trail

The Robberg Hiking Trail is probably one of the most popular and well known trails in the area and also one of the most scenic. The route is a circular trail along the Robberg peninsula with two shorter variations available ranging from easy to moderate.

    Paragliding (90$)

Cape Town is blessed with stunning good looks and for some, a bird’s eye is the only way to appreciate the full beauty. For those hankering for a little action, a tandem paragliding session that starts in the wilds of Table Mountain National Park and combines adrenalin-packed sight-seeing with some uncanny human engineering gets you as close to human flight as possible. (Please note that this activity is a weather based activity)

    Muizenberg Surfing (35$)

Muizenberg is one of the best breaks for beginner surfers in the world. It’s located on the Indian Ocean side of Cape Town, so the water is a bit warmer than other spots in the area. It often has long, gentle, and frequent waves. A beach break with a sandy bottom. This makes it an ideal place to learn the basics of surfing.  (Please note that this activity is a weather based activity)

    Abseiling from Table Mountain (80$)

The panoramic views from the top of Table Mountain are breath taking, but the views from the abseil are even better.
